SPECS: WordPress built site using Enfold Theme, Wireframes created using MockFlow.
The purpose of building this site was to help our client create a web presence that is consistent and reflective of the company.
THE PROBLEM: To capture the essence of the brand, I had to go off of the pre-exising logo. The logo colours are red, yellow and blue, all three of the primary colours which are hard to use while maintaining colour harmony. Designing this site from scratch, we were given no content, direction and full freedom for the most part. Our client also had been exploited by previous people claiming to be web developers. We had to regain her trust without previous knowledge of who we are and overcome negative conceptions she had.
THE SOLUTION: We met in person to discuss the website and how we would go about the process. I brought in a photographer to take photos for the site and curated a series of questions for the owner to answer in order for me to develop copy for each of the pages. I decided on a colour block layout concept using primarily blue and accenting certain elements with the yellow and red.
